1.1 Face Data

To prevent fake accounts and ensure user authenticity, Trace: Verify & Reveal collects and uses facial data during account creation. This facial data is used to verify that the user is a real person.

Facial data is stored securely on Amazon Web Services (AWS), and is not shared with any third parties. Facial data is retained only while the user account remains active and is permanently deleted if the user deletes their account.

We do not use facial data for identification beyond the purpose of fake account prevention, and we do not use it for advertising, tracking, or any unrelated purpose.

Consent: By uploading an image, users confirm that they have the legal right and consent to submit that image. Users may not upload photos of others without their permission. This responsibility is outlined clearly in this Privacy Policy and in our in-app submission flow.

If someone believes their image was uploaded without consent, they may request immediate removal by contacting us via email. We review all takedown requests promptly.

2. How We Use Your Information
